Come and meet Kathryn King – AT’s “breath of fresh air”

Mark your calendars for next Thursday evening, 6pm, and come along and meet the fantastic Kathryn King, who is Auckland Transport’s new Manager for Walking and Cycling.

Kathryn King

Kathryn comes (back) to us from London – where amazing things are happening at a pace unimaginable only a few years ago – and is totally at home on her bike in Auckland, commuting between Pt Chev and town in all weathers.

We’ll be running a profile of Kathryn in the next week. In the meantime, here’s some background on her work in London and here she is looking rather spiffy in a Yakkay bike helmet.

For a sense of her positive, down-to-earth approach, check out this friendly, cute, elegant campaign that showcased everyday London locals out and about on bikes. No wonder we’re excited about the energy she’ll bring to AT’s projects! You won’t want to miss this chance to hear her speak.

Numbers limited – RSVP to barbcuth@gmail.com now to reserve a spot!
