Bike Breakfasts are back in business! Join us this Thursday, 4 February

Bike Auckland

Welcome to Bike Breakfasts 2016! It might be a new year with a new face (Duncan Laidlaw has taken over coordinating things from our dear Kirsten) and a new venue (Scarecrow Kitchen!) but it’s the same bike breakfast concept we all love. People, bikes, coffee, chat, first Thursday of every month. That means this Thursday, 4th February.

If you haven’t been before, we’d love you to join us, especially if you’ve been out on two wheels over the break, and are keen to share tales of the road (good or bad).

Or maybe you got a new bike from Santa and want some tips on where to ride it. Or perhaps you’ve joined the crowd commuting to work – maybe as part of the Auckland Bike Challenge – and you’d like some tips?

Or you’ve tried out the fabulous Te Ara I Whiti (aka Lightpath), or read our epic round-up of all the improvements for bikes in 2015, and you want to hear about other projects on the horizon?

Or perhaps you’d just enjoy having breakfast before work with the chance of meeting some fellow Aucklanders with a shared passion for the everyday bike life.

Bike breakfasts are whatever you want them to be, and the only requirement is you have to be there – how simple is that!

Bike Breakfasts are held the first Thursday of each month, at Scarecrow, 33 Victoria Street East (corner of Kitchener St, opposite Albert Park), from 7:30am.

See you there, this Thursday, 4 February!
