Back in the Bike Kitchen

Bike Auckland

The Bike Kitchen is open again this Saturday – donations and offers of hands-on help are warmly welcomed. Swing by and find out more about the Bike Kitchen’s mission of getting great old bikes back up and running and into the hands of new New Zealanders.

When: Saturday 29 October from 10am – 2pm

Where: Roskill Youth Zone, 740 Sandringham Road Extn., Mt Roskill

We appreciate your bicycle donations… especially bikes in good condition, clean and rust-free (NB missing parts and flat tires are not a problem). We also love to get clean and rust-free parts and bike-related accessories and clothing.

If you have a nice donation, but really cannot bring it in, email a photo and we will try to arrange pick up if you’re in Auckland.

BIKES WE LOVE
• Kid-size bikes, trikes or scooters
• Older 3-speeds,
• 10-speeds, and cruisers
• Comfort bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, and cruisers
• Helmets, helmets, helmets and helmets

BIKES THAT DON’T FURTHER OUR MISSION
• Bikes that have a lot of rust

Our standards for bicycle donations are an important part of our mission to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation. (If you’re unsure, send a picture of your bike to Diana at recyclingbicycles4refugees@gmail.com )
